Create your own unique sock monster with artist and author of Sock Monster Problems Chris Massingill. Chris is an artist and creator of Sock Monster Problems, collected photographs of her wildly imaginative sock monster creations with their own no-so-serious problems.
About her sock monsters, Chris says "Sock Monster Problems actually started in my classroom when I was having some students photograph their soft sculptures for their portfolios. I usually work alongside my students so that I can show them what mistakes I've made so they can avoid them or demo a technique. So, I started Instagramming my example monsters. I love making the monsters, but what I love even more is bringing them to life with their stories." You can learn more about Sock Monster Problems visit sockmonsterproblems.com. The Central Arkansas Library System and the City of Sherwood completed construction of the new Amy Sanders Library in early 2018. The new building has 14,500 square feet of space on a heavily wooded 15-acre parcel. The setting of the building is within the existing trees and steep terrain to enhance the uniqueness of the site, bringing the outside in.
