For more than 35 years, radio station Power 92 (KIPR 92.3) has been The People's Station in Central Arkansas! On Saturday, February 24th at 7:00pm, CALS Arkansas Sounds is proud to present a tribute to Power 92 honoring the history and the influence of this Marconi Award-winning radio station. Make plans now to join us as we celebrate the people of The People's Station with a Power 92 family reunion and panel discussion that features former and current on-air personalities including Broadway Joe Booker, Tre’ Day, Stack 3, Pamela Smith, and many more. 

This Arkansas Black History event is free and open to the public, no tickets or reservations are needed. Doors open at 6:00pm with the program starting at 7:00pm.

About the branch

The Ron Robinson Theater is a 315-seat multi-purpose event venue. Part of the Central Arkansas Library System’s (CALS) Main Library campus, it is designed to provide programs for all ages including films, music performances, plays, readings, lectures, speakers, and children’s activities. The theater is equipped with a state-of-the-art DCI-compliant Barco digital cinema projection system and 32′ wide retractable screen; and, a versatile sound system capable of Dolby 5.1 surround audio for movies, with a CL3 digital mixing console with ample inputs for traditional music concerts.
