Join us on Saturday, March 9, at 8:00 p.m. when Arkansas Sounds presents four uniquely talented Arkansas singer-songwriters with deep musical roots in folk, blues, rock, and country, as they swap songs in an intimate and personal concert.


The program will feature Michael Cusack from Memphis, Gil Franklin from North Little Rock, Drew deFrance from Little Rock, and Danny Tate from Los Angeles. All 4 will share the stories behind their songs in our songwriter showcase.

Tickets are $20 each. Seating is general admission. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the concert starts at 8:00 p.m.

About the branch

The Ron Robinson Theater is a 315-seat multi-purpose event venue. Part of the Central Arkansas Library System’s (CALS) Main Library campus, it is designed to provide programs for all ages including films, music performances, plays, readings, lectures, speakers, and children’s activities. The theater is equipped with a state-of-the-art DCI-compliant Barco digital cinema projection system and 32′ wide retractable screen; and, a versatile sound system capable of Dolby 5.1 surround audio for movies, with a CL3 digital mixing console with ample inputs for traditional music concerts.
