Join us on Sunday, September 29, for An Evening with Ann Patchett & Robin Preiss Glasser at the Ron Robinson Theater. This ticketed event will raise funds so the festival can continue providing free public programs in Central Arkansas.

Every year, the Six Bridges Book Festival presented by the Central Arkansas Library System hosts approximately 50 authors for free panel discussions, readings, book signings, and other fun and enriching programs. In addition to offering an opportunity for thousands of readers to meet some of their favorite authors, the festival sends many of the presenters into local schools to inspire our next generation of readers and writers.

On September 29, 2024, Ann Patchett, the best-selling novelist and author of essays and children’s books, will be joined by Robin Preiss Glasser, illustrator of the Fancy Nancy series, for a conversation about creativity and collaboration. The Verts: A Story of Introverts and Extroverts, written by Patchett and illustrated by Glasser, will be published on September 17.

This ticketed event will raise critical funding so the festival can continue providing free public events to the Central Arkansas community. Festive drinks and bites will be included in the ticket price, and Patchett and Glasser will be available to sign books. We are grateful to Ann Patchett and Robin Preiss Glasser for donating their time so that all proceeds raised from this event will directly support festival programming.
