Create a Tolkien-style fantasy map on tea-stained paper using high quality illustration pens.
Create the outlines on your map by spreading rice and tracing the organic shapes to create landmasses, then fill in the map with geographic features, cryptids, and settlements using ultra fine-point illustration pens.
The maps can be decorative art, used in tabletop RPGs, or as a world-building tool for creative writing.
This Teen Program, for ages 12-18, is supported by an Arts Grant from the Windgate foundation; registration is recommended to reserve a spot, but not required.
