Wacky Magic
Let’s all go on a Magical Pirate Adventure in the summer of 2024! In Tommy Terrific’s new Pirate Adventure Magic show, pirate-themed magic tricks take center stage. There are magic tricks ranging from a ship in a bottle to gold medallions to a Jolly Roger flag magically hoisted in the air. As the kids help guide Tommy on a quest to find the treasure, they also learn the meanings behind several fun, pirate words and phrases. So, “Weigh Anchor”, “Hoist the Mizzen”, and get ready for a magical, pirate adventure sailing your way next summer.

The tenth library in the Central Arkansas Library System was dedicated in Sue Cowan Williams’s honor on March 22, 1997. Fittingly, the Sue Cowan Williams Library serves the community near the historic Dunbar High School building in downtown Little Rock, where Williams taught. Today at the Williams Library, patrons can see the same commitment to education and equal opportunity that inspired Sue Cowan Williams to take a stand. Williams offers a wide range of programs for children and teens.
