Everyone 16-99 (minors must be accompanied by an adult) is welcome to join in on this FREE workshop, regardless of skill level. MoKasso will provide a calm, safe, meditative atmosphere, solid structure, gentle instructions, and absolute freedom to experiment.  This workshop is a structured art-making session for anyone who enjoys creative self-expression.  As one of the earliest forms of self-expression, painting is a visual dance of the imagination. It precedes oral language and brings life to one’s imagination, making thoughts visible.

Artist Bio
Monica McGee, MBA, also known by the Artist name, "MoKasso," was born in Bakersfield, California, and currently resides in the Central Arkansas area. Monica owns a Creative Arts and Media company, and is a Professional Visual Artist, Mentor, Speaker, and Facilitator. Monica has a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management and a Master’s in Business and Administration, with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship, obtaining both from Nyack College in Nyack, New York. She has been creative and intrigued by art for most of her life and initially started out as an Art minor in college. MoKasso is best known for her body of work with images in acrylic paint depicted from the back as they represent looking forward and leaving the past behind; hence, her favorite self-quote, “Your best life is in front of you, don’t look back.” MoKasso's body of work tells the story of her life through pictures, which tend to have a motivational or life lesson attached to each piece.
