The UA Little Rock Center for Arkansas History and Culture (CAHC) is proud to announce the project Mapping Little Rock History. Archivist James Wethington will demonstrate how to explore the past and present city of Little Rock using close to 200,000 digital items, including historic maps, documents, and photographs, as well as an interactive map co-produced by four local historic institutions.
James Wethington is an archivist for the UA Little Rock Center for Arkansas History and Culture (CAHC). Prior to CAHC, he was a senior library assistant at the University Archives and Special Collections at the David L. Rice Library at the University of Southern Indiana. He holds a Master’s of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from Indiana University Indianapolis (IUI) and bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Southern Indiana.
Legacies & Lunch is a hybrid program offering participants the opportunity to attend either in person or virtually via Zoom. To participate in person, join us at - NEW LOCATION - UA Little Rock Downtown (333 President Clinton Ave). Parking is available in the surface lot or the CALS Parking Deck which you can access from Rock Street. Parking will be validated. Bring your lunch; we will provide drinks and cookies.
