Join us on Saturday, February 15, at the Roberts Library from 12:30pm to 1:30pm in Room 204. We'll review a brief definition of Afrofuturism and explore a timeline of Afrofuturism's development in the science fiction genre from Octavia Butler and far beyond. Then we'll discuss our favorites and get some new reading recommendations. There will be snacks and prizes! Contact jjobe@cals.org with questions. Afterward, head downstairs to Mini Main and the Afrofuturism teen art show opening at 2pm.
