Join local calligrapher, Kate Edwards, at Thompson Library to learn the basics of modern calligraphy! In this two hour class you’ll learn about the supplies used for pointed pen calligraphy, how to hold a pen holder, letterforms and how they’re assembled, and troubleshooting tips and tricks. You’ll walk away with the ability to get ink flowing from nib to paper and all the tools needed to practice and develop your calligraphy skills. Supplies are included and are yours to keep. Lefties welcome!
