There are no cats in America... or are there? Follow Fievel Mousekewitz as he braves the journey from Russia to the New World in this beloved animated adventure. With its unforgettable songs, lush animation, and themes of hope and family, Don Bluth's An American Tail remains one of the most poignant and beautifully made animated films of its time. Don’t miss your chance to see it on the big screen!

Important Information:

Film Start Time: Doors open at 11:30am, and the film will begin promptly at 12:30pm. As our films are general admission seating, please be sure to arrive early to secure your seat. Concessions will be available.

Free Parking:

We’re pleased to offer complimentary parking for all attendees. Simply bring your parking ticket from the library parking lot (across from the Main Library on Rock Street) or the parking deck (next to the Main Library on Rock Street) inside the theater, and our friendly box office staff will validate it for you. Validations are for paid ticket holders only.

About the branch

The Ron Robinson Theater is a 315-seat multi-purpose event venue. Part of the Central Arkansas Library System’s (CALS) Main Library campus, it is designed to provide programs for all ages including films, music performances, plays, readings, lectures, speakers, and children’s activities. The theater is equipped with a state-of-the-art DCI-compliant Barco digital cinema projection system and 32′ wide retractable screen; and, a versatile sound system capable of Dolby 5.1 surround audio for movies, with a CL3 digital mixing console with ample inputs for traditional music concerts.
