Stephin Booth is a locally known percussionist with professional ties to Los Angeles, California. He has worked on music projects with internationally known artists/groups such as Babatunde Olatunji, Dwight(The Professor)Baldwin, The Sylvers, Betty Everette, the Chambers Brothers, The Chambers Family Singers, Leon Ndugu Chancellor, War, Rudy Ray Moore, Rosie Grier, Little Richard, Kashif, Debbie Allen, Cathy Person, Tranora Parker and The LA Cathedral Choir, Hezekiah Walker, Michael Wycoff, Rose Royce, and Manhattan Transfer. He currently resides in Little Rock, AR, where he is an integral part of the Afro Caribbean style drumming scene working either in the past or presently with highly acclaimed music professionals such as Tim Anthony, LeRon McAdoo, Merlon Devine, Bethany Devine, Marquis Hunt, Gerald Johnson, Rico Zaragoza, Darrell Yancy, Emerge/ Shemell Riveter, Keithan Epps and The Voices of Praise, Marlon Davis, Steve Huddleston, Ted Williams, and Jeff Taylor.
Nestled in the heart of the beautiful city of Maumelle, the library is surrounded by Lake Valencia and numerous popular walking trails. The newly renovated building boasts an extensive collection of DVDs, audiobooks, fiction, non-fiction, and bestsellers for all ages. Enjoy the natural setting of our library by checking out our fishing poles for a relaxing day of fishing with the family, or checking out our telescope to view the wonders of the night sky. Book clubs for adults, cooking classes for kids, and storytime for babies are just a few of the many programs offered every month that the entire family can enjoy. For individuals and small groups we provide several study rooms, and if you have a larger group give us a call or stop by to discuss having your next get-together in our meeting room.
