Join us on the 2nd Friday of each month for Art Night at the Theater during downtown's 2nd Friday Art Night! After visiting the other participants (Bella Vita Jewelry, CALS Rock It! Lab, Historic Arkansas Museum, and The Old State House), bring your knitting, coloring sheets (we’ll have some!), or whatever quiet craft soothes your soul as you enjoy beloved classics on the big screen. Journey back to Middle-earth for a magical 2nd Friday Art Night! See it on the big screen in all its high-fantasy glory—complete with wizards, ringwraiths, and the Shire. Whether you're a longtime fan or new to the quest, there's no better way to experience it than in the theater.

Film Start Time: Doors open at 6:00pm, and the film will begin promptly at 7:00pm. As our films are general admission seating, please be sure to arrive early to secure your seat. Beer, wine, and concessions will be available.
Free Parking:
We’re pleased to offer complimentary parking for all attendees. Simply bring your parking ticket from the library parking lot (across from the Main Library on Rock Street) or the parking deck (next to the Main Library on Rock Street) inside the theater, and our friendly box office staff will validate it for you. Validations are for paid ticket holders only.

The Ron Robinson Theater is a 315-seat multi-purpose event venue. Part of the Central Arkansas Library System’s (CALS) Main Library campus, it is designed to provide programs for all ages including films, music performances, plays, readings, lectures, speakers, and children’s activities. The theater is equipped with a state-of-the-art DCI-compliant Barco digital cinema projection system and 32′ wide retractable screen; and, a versatile sound system capable of Dolby 5.1 surround audio for movies, with a CL3 digital mixing console with ample inputs for traditional music concerts.
