Meet Sarah Thomas, a seasoned yogi who, inspired by her mother's prenatal yoga classes, embarked on a lifelong journey of yoga and meditation. Guided by her first teacher, she developed a deep passion for the art. At Sage Yoga, Sarah honed her skills, transitioning from student to teacher, sharing her knowledge in venues such as St. Jude, Johnson & Johnson, University of Arkansas for Medical Science, Zen Studios, and Sixth House Wellness Studio. As a lululemon legacy ambassador, Sarah goes beyond teaching, fostering genuine connections and aligning with lululemon’s mission of empowering individuals in fitness, health, and wellness.
As the author of "Chair Yoga for Multiple Sclerosis and Chronic Pain," Sarah not only contributes to the yoga community but also actively supports those with specific health needs. Sarah is not only a yoga instructor but also a certified health and wellness lifestyle coach by Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health. (Sarah will also be doing yoga for youth from 10 to 11 on the same dates for the free Wrightsville Summer Youth Program coordinated by the Pulaski County Sherrif's Office with outreach programs provided by CALS Brooks Library. CALS Brooks Library is located in the City of Wrightsville Community Center in between the City Hall and the Gymnasium. This library branch is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 to 4:30 PM. On the 3rd Tuesday of each month the library stays open until 7PM and hosts an art night with free art supplies for patrons to express their creativity. A Potluck Food Rescue Distribution is held each Tuesday morning at 9:30 am while quantities last. A Be Mighty Food Pantry is located inside the library and a Little Free Pantry is located in the Wrightsville Community Center Park Lot. The Millie Brooks Library Community Garden is located in the city park behind the Community Center. The library has 4 Internet Stations for public use, free wifi, and offers copying, printing, scanning and faxing services. One study room is available for public use on a first come first serve basis. Table Top Games, an early childhood playroom, and a Video Game Room are available during regular library hours.
