Families are invited to step into the whimsical and mischievous world of traditional Czech puppetry when Alfa Theatre, Czech Republic's most celebrated puppet theatre, brings its acclaimed performance Mr. Kašpar and His Jolly Family to LR.

The 35-minute performance is followed by a 30-minute workshop where children can step backstage, handle the puppets themselves, experiment with traditional puppeteering instruments, and even try a short scene under the guidance of the actors. This unique experience is perfect for families with children ages 4 and up, and for anyone curious about world theatre traditions. Embassy of the Czech Republic, City of Pilsen, Plzensky kraj present this program to our community.
