Join us for our 4th annual celebration of the beginning of Winter with holiday crafts, food, and free family portraits!

Activities include

  • Holiday piñata - Make a winter themed piñata with Native Mexican artisan Araceli Meneses
  • Cookie Decorating - Use sprinkles and frosting to create edible art!
  • Family Portraits - Local photographer Dre Thornton will snap the crew in a winter themed wonderland, one free printed image and digital files will be provided. 
  • Wooden Lanterns - It's the longest night of the year! Celebrate the Night by creating your own winter themed lantern to brighten the year!

About the branch

Dee Brown Library is nestled in the heart of southwest Little Rock and offers patrons a wide variety of adult and children’s books as well as CDs and DVDs. The 13,500-square-feet library, which opened in 2002, provides access to public study rooms, a meeting room, and an outside deck and boardwalk that lead from Baseline Road to the library.
