In this hands-on class, we’ll:
- Learn what a Raspberry Pi is and why it’s used in education, engineering, and DIY projects
- Assemble a working computer from simple parts (Pi, power, storage, keyboard, display)
- Install and boot Raspberry Pi OS (Linux)
- Explore how the Pi can be used for coding, electronics, media centers, retro gaming, and more
- Talk about why small, efficient computers matter for learning, repair, and reducing e-waste
No prior experience required—this class is designed for curious beginners, tinkerers, and lifelong learners. If you’ve ever wondered how a computer really works, Pi Day is the perfect time to find out.
