Journaling Club
Saturday, September 19
12:30pm - 2:00pm
Join us once a month and enjoy camaraderie without the small talk--instead, dive in and explore yourself on the page with thoughtful prompts from Suleika Jaouad's The Book of Alchemy and engage in meaningful conversation with others doing the same.
Born out of Suleika Jaouad's The Book of Alchemy, journaling clubs are quietly becoming a movement, transmuting solitude into connection and strangers into community one gathering at a time.
Bring: Your favorite notebook, journal, diary, or artbook to write in
Bring: Your favorite pens, pencils, markers, (and so on) to write with
You do not need a copy of S.J.'s book. The prompts will be provided to you.
We will: Write quietly together.
We will NOT: Read aloud from our journals. (That's private!)
Instead, we will ask open questions like "How was that for you?" or "What did that get you thinking about?" Get ready to get to know yourself better and make new friends.
Presented by CALS Writing Circle.
